Winter walks

Away from the slopes, you can immerse yourself in the unique winter paradise of Val Gardena on a variety of hiking and snowshoe trails. Numerous paths lead to the most breathtaking mountain scenery, where you can enjoy the magic of the snow-covered landscape.
Directly from our house you can access the hiking trail to Seceda and the Gamsblut Hut, the path to St. Jakob or the high alpine pasture of Sëurasas with its fantastic views. On the opposite side, Monte Pana features an idyllic forest road that leads to the inner Alpe di Siusi, where typical huts are waiting to serve you the best typical dishes. This is the ideal opportunity to get some fresh air and relax. No other sport offers as much for young and old as winter hiking.

Tobogganing is definitely the perfect opportunity for the whole family to have fun and laugh together. The ideal place for this is Rasciesa in Ortisei, where the funicular railway provides easy access for everyone.
On the Alpe di Siusi, there are also several opportunities to enjoy your own toboggan run and then relax with a hot drink in one of the typical mountain huts.
